What happened to the number they used to have? IMVU doesn't seem so user-friendly these days.

Yeh he is right cos im gonna ask the same thing does anyone know the imvu number for the UK!

I love how no ones actually read what the mod is telling everyone, and yet people are asking for numbers to contact IMVU. I wouldn't be surprised if the shitty customer service was because of the customers not comprehending anything they're told or give (e.g. TOS).

i dont see how a phone number helps. ofcourse it speeds up your help, but do you really lack so much patience?

the helpdesk helped me very well, AND say'd sorry for the long wait (took way longer then normal). it was not the respond i hoped for, but they helped me, and gave every kind of information on why i coudnt get credits.

someone tell me, HOW will a phone number help?
you will only get basic answers that you can find back in the FAQ. really, people behind the phone just have a giant manual on their desk and read it all for you to help you with a problem. if you need help, hit the forums. enough people and moderators around here who try to help (thumbs up for that). but for anything that they cannot help with, someone behind a phone cannot either. only staff can, and you can only ask help by sending a ticket...

if you want staff to help trough the phone, well... IMVU needs to hire ALOT more employees, and i dont see that happening.

and lets be honnest here, if you have a issue is it really in a hurry? or are you just inpatient? cause i dont see a reason to give any kind of problem a hurry, appart from buggs. but those are already talked about on the forum, and varsha(staff) notices them spot on, and tell us if they work on a sollution

soo, anyone. why a phone number?

So.. Having your account compromised (changes your password), possibly with millions of credits hosted on it, or maybe whoever got into your account decides to buy some fraud credits with it and send 1cr to every friend you have causing not only for your account to be disabled (possibly permanently) but the accounts who were send that 1cr.

Just because any issue you've ever had wasn't "urgent" doesn't mean there aren't any problems that aren't, because there's a lot of issues that need to be addressed as soon as they're found. A lot of gaming companies have a phone you can call for immediate response and people usually call them for account related issues.

Any level headed company that expects their customers to use credit cards or spend money on their site should have some sort of phone that you can call when you have a dire account issue that involves it being compromised (or disabled in IMVU's case) so why can't we have a phone number? Because you see no point in it? Adding personal opinion to a debate doesn't really help add to it since it isn't all that practical if it's based on your personal experiences.

It would be very helpful to those of us that can not file help tickets, I have never been able to for some strange reason. I have called them in the past when I wasn't getting my VIP credits etc... They weren't very helpful. I just got the number from the billing inquiries section.

That phone number is for billing issues only, they will not help you get stolen accounts back.

Here is a helpful guide on what to do to get your account back. Good luck.

I actually called about a hacked account, and they helped me through a month of craziness. The first time I called I asked them if it was only for billing, and was told, no. Perhaps this was just a misinformed worker, but every time I called they were very helpful, and very knowledgeable about this certain hacker. If I would have had to go through this problem via help ticket, I'd probably have quit IMVU by now. I 100% agree there should be a Customer Service number, for customer service. We're the population of IMVU, and should have somewhere to refer to when things get tough.

I love waiting weeks at a time for unhelpful replies.

I love it even more when my tickets get closed because I don't get back to them in time to reopen.

You can re-open the ticket if it is closed on you and not resolved.

I think you open it, click on Edit, and it will give you the option. Then you can add a note saying why you re-opened it, re-iterate your question and proposed solution.

I have done it once or twice when I remember to check on a ticket, but found it was closed. (Not my primary email address..so don't get the reminders)
